FEF

The Freshwater Educational Foundation was founded in 1993 by a group of dedicated Freshwater parents.  After some years of inactivity, the Foundation has been revitalized with a new Board of Directors and renewed vigor.  The purpose of the Foundation is to provide funding to support and enhance the educational programs at Freshwater School.  The Foundation has a Board of Directors which meets with school administration and teachers, and plans fundraising activities to provide supplemental funding directly to Freshwater School, based on the administration’s prioritized needs.

The Foundation holds events to raise funds, works to identify public and private sources of grant money, and solicits financial and in-kind support from the community, business and individuals.

The Foundation has a volunteer Board of Directors which meets with the Superintendent to set goals based upon parent and staff input.
