** Enrichment Class registration is now ONLINE via Brightwheel!
ALL COMMUNICATIONS: confirmations, placements and waitlist status, messages/information from instructors will all be on the Brightwheel platform. You will NOT receive emails. Please plan to utilize the app and turn on notifications, or plan to check in frequently through your account on the site directly for updates and information.
*If you do not have online access for the program, hard copies of the registration forms and communication accommodations will be made available.

Fall classes will run for 6 consecutive weeks beginning
Monday October 5th – Friday November 13th
Wednesday CLASSES will run for 5 weeks ONLY
Registration:
Opens at 10am on Thursday, September 24th
and will close when classes are full.
*Please note: spots fill up quickly!*
When completing the form:
- Please complete ALL information requested in the required sections on the form. *the form will not submit if required sections are left blank – but should highlight missing information for you to input.
- Choose a “first choice” class. If the first class is full, or you would like a second class if there is space, please fill in a second and third choice option.
*If those spaces are left blank, and the first choice class is not available, we will assume you do not want any option except the one class selected.
- PLEASE DO NOT SELECT A CLASS THAT CONFLICTS WITH ANY MATH INTERVENTION SCHEDULES FOR YOUR CHILD.
All classes will begin at either 3:15 or 4:15. (except Monday classes @ 1:45pm)
*For classes with a 3:15 (or Mon @ 1:45) start time: All students attending an enrichment class will check in at ASP prior to the start of their class. ASP staff will take attendance, provide a snack and escort students to their class when it is set to begin. *Students do not need to be registered at ASP for this option, ALL students attending enrichment classes beginning at 3:15 (M @ 1:45) will follow this procedure.*
*For classes with a 4:15 (or Mon later than 1:45) start time: Students who are NOT registered for ASP have the option of registering for the program and utilizing the drop-in option ($8/hr) to have supervision and snack during the time between dismissal from school and the 4:15 start time.
OR getting picked up at dismissal and dropped back off for the start of class.
**Students may not be on school grounds unsupervised during the time between school ending and enrichment classes beginning.**
Students who ARE already registered with ASP will come to the program as usual and then go to their class when it is set to begin.
Billing:
- Billing statements will be generated only for those who get into their requested classes. Please WAIT to submit payment until a statement is produced and sent out.
- We will be accepting online payments through Brightwheel, cash, or check payments. Please make checks payable to Freshwater School District and include “enrichment” and “child’s name” on the check.

Attendance:
We will be taking attendance and making sure those students who are present at school show up to their class.
If your child is not attending school on their enrichment class day, please notify the instructors via Brightwheel messaging if you will be absent from the afternoon class.
If you are registering for an enrichment class please be sure you select an option that does not conflict with your student’s sports or homework club/math club schedule. With such limited space in the enrichment program, it is imperative that all students who register are able to attend without conflict. (A student’s academic responsibilities should be prioritized)
Refunds and or discounts will not be issued for students who miss classes they registered for and received confirmed placement in.
If you plan to pick up, please do so at the assigned room in which they are taking the class.
ENRICHMENT CLASS LATE PICK UP POLICY:
*If your student does not already attend the After School Program and you are late picking up, they will be sent to the After School Program, and you will be charged *$1.00/minute late pick up fee* until your arrival.
ENRICHMENT CLASS BEHAVIOR POLICY:
Please discuss with your student the school rules and expectations of being safe, respectful, and responsible during enrichment classes. All of the school rules regarding student conduct apply during this extended course time. With limited space in these special class offerings, it is important to understand that it is a privilege to get to participate, and respectful, attentive behavior is expected at all times. If student behavior becomes disruptive to other participants it is at the discretion of the instructor that a student be asked not to return to the class. You will be contacted by the Enrichment Coordinators if it becomes necessary. No refunds will be issued.
Cancellation Information:
If a class is canceled due to an instructor’s illness or any other circumstance, there will be a make-up class scheduled.
If a class offered does not hit a minimum number of participants in order to run the class, it will be cancelled. Families will be notified and offered another option / second choice if available.
