Camp FresH20 2024 Junior Counselor Program

This early work experience opportunity is available to middle school students – incoming and outgoing 7th, 8th (and going into 9th) graders.

Students looking to stay busy and have fun this summer will learn valuable leadership skills, independence, develop stronger communication skills and confidence working as a Junior Camp Counselor. Under the direction of our Camp Leaders, Junior Counselors will help facilitate camp activities, lead through play, and be positive role models for younger children. This program is designed to promote our oldest student community members taking on more responsibility and contributing in a meaningful way, teach them to work efficiently and effectively with others and encourage them to show up everyday and take accountability for themselves.

Our goal is to support these students and inspire them to elevate their thinking about the ways they can bring their unique strengths to the world around them. This opportunity will provide some real life experiences and training in a fun and safe environment.

The commitment asked: Students must be available for a Monday – Friday (1 week session) ideally between the hours of 9-3. (Schedules will be arranged with student/parent and program needs in mind)

Junior Counselors must participate in a mandatory training day that will take place before the first day of camp. (Date and time TBD)

The cost to participate is $100.
